PKA Inside Diameter Air Gage

The PKA with its spring-loaded, floating style contact point will act as an air regulator corresponding to the rough grooves and negate the valleys that would normally be sensed. If the roughness of the object is greater than 6S (Ry 6.3S) the PKA style is the ideal solution provided the peaks and valleys are less than 4mm (0.157") wide. The carbide spring-loaded floating point is located at the middle of the measuring head.

	Carbide point is at the middle of the probe. This is a indirect type which make non-contact measurement using solid-carbide measurement point. It is used mainly with the surface roughness being not less than 6 S ,or the width of the surface to be   measured being not more than 4 mm.
